This Radiolucent Mayfield Headrest system is complete and ready to use. It is in excellent cosmetic and tested working condition and I guarantee it will not be DOA. It is obvious this system hasn't been used much. All splines (starburst teeth) are perfect with no sign of wear. The center section (Transitional section & swivel adaptor) have been upgraded to a compatible and better OSI brand. The base unit attaches to the side rails of any O.R. Table with side rails 21 1/2" to 23 1/2" wide. The base unit rail clamps will adjust to any side rail size.
Comes with the radiolucent skull clamp, radiolucent transitional member, radiolucent swivel adaptor, rail mount base unit, 2 sets skull pins, operating manuals and foam lined hard case w/ keys.. The skull clamp fully adjusts to any head. The skull clamp has a wide range of positioning using the hand tighteners. The entire headrest system can be positioned anywhere on the base unit. The hard case is nice and the headrest fits in it perfectly.

The Mayfield Radiolucent Headrest (A-1082) is designed to provide rigid skeletal fixation for procedures involving intraoperative digital subtraction angiography. The system offers the same flexibility adn versatility as the standard Mayfield Headrest adn fits most standard operating tables. The Mayfield Radiolucent Headrest is composed of the Mayfield Radiolucent Base Unit (A-1079) and the Mayfield Radiolucent Skull Clamp (A-1058)
The Treon® Treatment Guidance System is a hardware platform that enables real-time surgical navigation using radiological patient images. The application software reformats patient-specific CT or MR images acquired before surgery and displays them on-screen from a variety of perspectives (axial, sagittal, coronal, oblique). Prior to operating, the surgeon may then create, store, and simulate progression along one or more surgical trajectories. As an aid to visualization, the surgeon may also create and manipulate one or more 3D models of the anatomy. During surgery, the system tracks the position of specialized surgical instruments in or on the patient anatomy and continuously updates the instrument position on these images.
If desired, the application software can also show how the actual position and path during surgery relate to the pre-surgical plan, and can help guide the surgeon along the planned trajectory. While the surgeon’s judgement remains the ultimate authority, real-time positional information obtained through the Treon® Treatment Guidance System can serve to validate this judgement as well as guide.
